Brian is a respected Republican leader at the regional, State and National level. His continued work for the Party, numerous positions held, and thousands of volunteer hours have earned him the reputation as ‘the man that can get things done’.
Originally from Nederland, Texas, Brian holds a degree in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. For nearly the last decade, Brian has worked in the distribution of geosynthetic and erosion control systems. Over the course of his entire career Brian was worked tirelessly with various entities, public and private, on improving their storm water quality, providing new solutions to old problems. Solutions that are both economically advantageous as well we longer lasting than traditional methods.
Brian and his wife are proud to call The Woodlands and Montgomery County their home. Like so many, it is where they have decided to raise their family. Since coming to the area, Brian has immersed himself in the community through public service, including holding many executive and membership positions within the Montgomery County Republican Party. In 2010, Brian was chosen by the people of Senate District 4 as their representative at the 2010 Republican Party State Convention. He was also elected President of the Young Republicans and appointed to the State’s Executive Board. During his tenure, both organizations received prestigious awards -- National Small Club of the Year and Federation of the Year.
While serving on the Executive Board for the Texas Young Republican Federation, Brian’s work with the Chair was critical in crafting position statements to help drive dialogue in communities and support the efforts of our elected officials throughout the legislative session. Locally this last election cycle, Brian served on the Leadership and Organization Committee of MCRP where he helped implement the virtual Get Out The Vote Campaign for the County Party. It was through these direct efforts that MCRP was able to target and engage historically underrepresented demographics and grow the Party.
Brian is exactly the kind of person we need for the future. He is a proven public servant that possesses the knowledge, skill set, experience, and service to the Party to lead us into the Future. His dedication has been to public service and not a pursuit of public office…a quality that makes him that much more attractive as a potential office holder.
